And you can make it your own by adding additional flavors like cilantro, chili peper flakes or sundried tomatoes.
Homemade Hummus Recipe
Yields about 3 ½ – 4 cups of hummus
INGREDIENTS:
- 2 cans of garbanzo beans (15 oz), 1 drained, 1 undrained
- 4 tablespoons of raw sesame seeds
- 1-2 tablespoons of olive oil
- ¼ cup lemon juice
- 3-6 cloves of garlic
- 1 teaspoon cumin
Optional add-ins:
- Cilantro
- Parsley
- Chili pepper flakes
- Sundried tomatoes
- More lemon!
